American novelist Benjamin Warner's debut novel Thirst was released July 14 in paperback by Bloomsbury.
A dystopian literary thriller, Thirst follows the story of young couple Eddie and Laura Chapman as they try to survive a mysterious disaster that's seen the world stripped of fresh water, and attempt to maintain their humanity in an increasingly brutal world. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Cornell University's MFA program and a teacher at Towson University who's been likened to Cormac McCarthy, Warner is an exciting and original new literary voice.
